Splosh! This is a companion picture to 'Splat!', and is of part of an artwork on the outside wall of the Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) in the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna. The rounded edges of the paint splodge complement and interact with the black lines of the broad gaps in the blockwork; the splodge is two feet or so across, if I remember correctly. Taken from further away than 'Splat!' but with the same extremely sharp 85mm f/1.8 lens, the verticals were still converging somewhat and have been straightened in Photoshop to give a proper geometric but confusingly abstract background for the paint splodge.

Technical: NIKON D800, f=85.0 mm, ISO250, 1/400 sec @ f8.0
