Tree Sunset

Tree Sunset. The sun dead centre behind the fan of a winter tree. On a 14 x 10 inch print the twigs of the tree are surprisingly sharp for the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens and I think I was lucky to have 'sweet-spot' settings. A bit of work right at the bottom of the picture to separate the twigs from the dark background, but otherwise a reasonably straight image. The judge won't like that sun in the middle, when it get to competition, I'm sure!

Technical: NIKON D300, f=112.0 mm, ISO400, 1/2500 sec @ f8.0
