City Hall, London. The headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA), on the south bank of the Thames just west of Tower Bridge. It was designed by Norman Foster and opened in July 2002. This image from September 2003, my first visit to City Hall, and taken as part of the Walk by the Thames series in the early days of the Nikon D100. I tried to make the most of the sweeping curves with the added 'texture' provided by the window frames. The single lighter grey window pane on the top-right third might just help the composition!
Technical: NIKON D100, f=55.0 mm, ISO200, 1/800 sec @ f8
