Pointed

Pointed. Looking up at the 368-metre high Fernsehturm (TV tower) to the east of Berlin city centre, with the pointed roofline of the Pavilion and entrance building at its base carefully arranged to not quite touch the column. The tower was built between 1965 and 1969 by the former GDR as a symbol of the city; today the views over the city from the top are superb. Stark shapes against the blue sky, and some quite fortunate clouds. Contrast and saturation pushed a bit for maximum impact, but still holding some detail.

Technical: NIKON D300, f=22.0 mm, ISO320, 1/1600 sec @ f8.0
